| Regency Events have a selection of 28 American
style traditional marquees ranging in size from 100 square feet to over
12,000 square feet. They are ideally suited to Guernsey shows and events where large
numbers of inexpensive and quick erect marquees are required. These marquees can
also be utilised for seated functions in Guernsey; however, we do not have interior linings
for the traditional marquees. |
| Our
traditional marquees feature a light weight
but very strong white PVC roof and walls. The marquees are wind loaded to a
constant 70 mph and capable of withstanding wind gusts of over 100 mph. As with
all marquees, they need to be erected on a grass site. The huge advantage of
these marquees (apart from the low hire charge) is that a small team of 6/8 men
can erect an entire show ground in 2/3 days.
These 31,000 square feet of new traditional marquees bring
our total stock of marquees / pavilions up to a total of 60,000 square feet.
Regency Events are capable of supplying the largest events held in Guernsey and the islands
with a near 150% safety margin of surplus

The BIG TOP..... We have further introduced the very first
Big Top
Marquee in Guernsey and the Channel Islands measuring 136' x 76' oval ended (9,068 square feet). It
has has two 30' middle sections and can also be erected as a 76' round tent or a
106' x 76' tent. The big top has aluminium winch pulley centre poles and easily
be erected in under a day by a small crew of just 4 men. The maximum capacities of the
traditional Big Top are: 700
guests for seated functions. 1,700 for a seated conference. 1,350 for a seated
show or live music event. 2,200 for a standing event. |
